Garden Party Down Home in Park Ridge "A Backyard Barn Dance"
Newcomers is going a little country!

Kick up your heels and join us for our annual Garden Party on Wed, Aug 26th at 7:00pm

It is one of our most fun nights of the year where we welcome new members, encourage membership and celebrate the end of summer! It’s a ladies-only event that’s always well attended and a definite good time.

Fellow member, Kristi Tanner, has graciously opened up her beautiful backyard at 2116 DeCook Ave to us for our end-of-summer backyard barn bash – thank you!

Backyard Barn Bash is our theme for the evening – complete with a little dancing, bags and of course a few signature drinks to celebrate. Put on those boots but only if you got’em! Suggested Attire is Snappy Country Casual or dressy casual if the honky-tonk’s not your thing!

We’d appreciate if current Club members can bring along your drink of choice for the night:

  •    Either a bottle of wine: a red or a chilled white
  •    or a cold six pack of beer

As is tradition at the Garden Party, we'd love for you to invite friends, family, and neighbors who may be interested in joining us - please send your guest’s email address to Melissa Hulting (mhulting@yahoo.com) so that we can send them a separate Evite invitation. This event is open to all women living in Park Ridge or in Niles within the D64 boundaries.

Meet some new friends or catch up with those you haven’t seen in awhile – but please do mosey on over. We will also be announcing this year's Labor of Love recipient at Garden Party. Announcements to be made around 8pm.

So we can plan accordingly, please register yourself and any friends/neighbors by Friday, August 21

We are also encouraging everyone to consider taking a taxi/Uber or consider walking/biking if you live close.  *Pink Taxi will be stopping frequently and is offering $5 off each ride.  They ask that we all try to ride along with neighbors to make the rides more efficient*

If you have any questions about the event, please reach out to our hard-working committee co-chairs: Aimee Kish (abkish28@gmail.com) or Courtney Bowles (courtneyblum@gmail.com)

We hope to see y’all there!
