Let's celebrate our roots with a
Tree Dedication Ceremony!

Spring has sprung and the
Newcomers are thinking ahead to
the long-awaited spring season with
a fun event for the whole family.
Please join us Sunday, May 15th from 3:30-5 pm at the Centennial Park playground and gazebo.

As part of this special event,
the Newcomers are donating a
Katsura tree through the
Park District’s “100 trees for 100 years” program, along with a commemorative plaque to honor the history
of our club and all the wonderful women that have contributed over the years.
Along with the dedication,
we will have some fun "green"
activities for the kids too!
Light snacks will be provided.
This is a casual event outdoors
and some of the activities will include dirt, so please dress accordingly.
