New Year – New You: Developing Your Professional Brand

Thursday, January 12th

7:30 - 9 p.m.
Jack & Jill, 70 N. Northwest Highway

This event is limited to 18 people.

You are probably thinking, “I’m not in marketing.  Why do I need a brand?”

An amazing professional brand is the key to getting everything you want.  Your professional brand defines when you get promoted or secure new business, it determines what salary or bill rate you earn, and it determines what time you get to leave work or stop checking your PDA every single day!

Your professional brand is what colleagues and clients say about you when you aren’t in the room and it directs decisions they make that affect you.

During this workshop we’ll

  • Define what a professional brand is and why it’s important for working moms
  • Establish how your professional brand can help you attain your work and personal goals
  • Discuss the intricate balance women face between being seen as too bossy or a pushover, being liked versus respected, and being viewed as too trendy versus too boring.

This workshop will be led by Suz O’Donnell, President & Executive Coach at Thrivatize LLC. Suz has spent almost twenty years helping people in all industries attain their personal and business goals. She is a dynamic workshop leader who will surprise you with some humor and fun, while also providing serious tips for advancement at work.

This event is BYOB. Please bring some wine or beer to enjoy and share with others.

Light snacks will be provided by the committee.
